Last week I ran away to Asia, to find soul in Seoul. Seoul has been high on my ‘must experience’ list for a long time now and when I landed it felt like the city felt the same way. The freezing winter temperatures were welcomed with a refreshing, revitalising effect and I was instantly kicking myself for how little time I’ve spent in Asia. I’m staying at the Conrad Hotel Seoul with sweeping views over the Han river and city. Her lights burn through the heavy smog to keep me company on my early morning windowsill perch, while I try to appreciatively drink as much of this 10 million person populated speck of earth in while I can.
