While trying to sort through photos from Poland I am realising just how snap happy I was in just one weekend away. Being in Wrocław came with the refreshing sense that I was in my own uncharted territory. On the Sunday morning we woke early to make the most of exploring the whole day and thankfully found that the beautifully gothic St. Elizabeth’s Church tower was open.
For anyone that knows me would also be aware that I am not the most fit person in the world. Potentially the exact opposite. There are over 300 stairs up the extremely cramped and winding tower, but with sweeping views over a newly discovered city as reward it was well and truly worth it. It is a very quiet attraction which is rare for European cities over summer, making me appreciate such a beautiful outlook and peaceful atmosphere without crowds of tourists on photo opportunity rotations. For just 5PLN (AU$1.70!!!) I recommend this as my favourite experience with Wrocław.
