On rare occasions while packing for travelling lightly I somehow manage to fit everything needed and more in, and times like this trip to Mexico I seem to leave the most simple things behind. I did a last minute reshuffle in my suitcase thinking I needed to pack much lighter, but ended up removing all of my main basics from sunglasses, clutches, tops etc. It is refreshing being somewhere semi isolated and realising how little you really need a handbag and everything inside.
I bought this Asos dress (along with the matching top I wore recently) based on its mirror print, scuba like fabric and pencil length which was perfect for our beach side dinner party nights in Cabo. After cocktails and watching the sunset over the Sea of Cortez we went barefoot on the beach for a bonfire and my first experience with s’mores.
