Here are a few Instagram’s from my first achingly cold winter in NYC (last year was midly warm compared to this!). I’ve mentioned before how drastically different NYC is during the different seasons, and I was so happy I got to experience not only the winter but the blizzard that rolled through too. I was in Brazil last year when hurricane Sandy ripped through, only landing back in NYC when the power and heating was starting to come on again. It is remarkable to see just how ever changing and resilient this city and its people are to whatever is thrown at it.
Wandering through Central Park in below freezing temperatures the morning after blizzard Nemo was the absolute highlight of the week. Coming out of a show at Lincholn Centre and straight in to the Park watching a winter wonderland of deep snow, bare trees and of course snow fights against the skyscraper backdrop.
