I’m pretty used to the fact that when I travel my clothes get a little creased in my bag, but for some reason when I arrived to Brazil they were crushed beyond recognition. As I’ve said before, travelling lightly can mean a minimal wardrobe and choices, but it can get to extremes when I haven’t had access to a laundry or iron! This casual but comfortable outfit is the direct result of this, for my first day in Brazil’s heat and humidity. We took these quick snaps while I was checking out my first sights of Belo Horizonte. As well as this church I was able to spot several designs by famous modern architect Oscar Niemeyer (still working at 104!!) throughout Brasil, including Ciccillo Matarazzo Pavilion where they usually house SPFW. The only way I could dress this up was these block heels from Luiza Barcelos I was immediately obsessed with, and kept trying to wear consecutively with every outfit that week.
