I came across this outfit post from a few weeks ago while I was in Stockholm that I forgot to post, thanks to the manic travel that followed. Zanita met me in Stockholm for FW and unfortunately I didn’t get to go to a single thing thanks to being bed ridden from a mixture of a whole lot of things from the flu, exhaustion and sleep deprivation that I assume built up over the Summer. Looking back on these photos reminds me how (I shouldn’t be in front of the camera so unwell) amazing it was to have Zanita there, not only being my photographer boyfriend and parter in crime but also taking care of me while I was so unwell. Being back here in Europe is definitely not the same without her.
Luckily I stayed in the most perfect location while in Stockholm, at hotel Rica in their blogger dedicated Room 505 (the Swedes are on to some amazing things!) which was a short stroll to the quaint Old Town and literally on the doorstep to all of the shopping I could dream of. Within minutes was everything from Beyond Retro vintage to Acne. I am kicking myself now for not doing a proper photo diary while I was well at the start, but if you want any specific tips just leave it in a comment. I picked up this caplet jacket from the Swedish store Weekdays and found it made the perfect excuse to finally wear the Zimmermann mint dress I have been carrying around and never wore on not only this trip, but back in NYC in February either. The dress isn’t exactly Swedish weather appropriate but nothing the caplet and boots couldn’t fix.
