I didn’t realise just how little the contents of my luggage were until Fashion Week. Nearly everyone I knew had been smart and pre planned outfits, unlike me of course. Every morning I wake up and stare at my 20kg of luggage hoping to find something is hidden in the corner, that I haven’t worn yet or maybe is even just clean! My first day of NYFW was terribly hot and the best choice I made was wearing this comfortably lightweight maxi. I have also been reunited with my “kidnapped child”… aka finally bought back my stolen Proenza. After a few months travelling and not wanting to do that big splurge and risk again, I was wondering why I continued to buy $100 bags from Zara that I didn’t love and break so easily… when that could have gone towards my one everyday bag I’m still in love with.
New York and NYFW flew by and after taking too many sleeping tablets on the flight I am now in London. Starting with a shoot with My-Wardrobe and now here for a few days of LFW. To be completely honest I am truly feeling the impact of solid travelling lately feeling physically and mentally drained. I’m hopefully going to make some downtime to reply, relax and reboot over the next few days before a quick visit to Milan.
