When Shopbop asked if I could cover ‘white‘ as a trend for MBFWA I thought how easily I could go all out. Of course it was seen heavily in the SS collections as it always is, from solid structure to the blank background of an array of prints. I’ve never been afraid of too much white as I wear it quite a lot and dominates over half of my wardrobe, but as always it is how you wear it and carry yourself that matters. Sydney is starting to cool down leading in to winter and although head to toe white is the cult staple of European summer, I think it can be worn appropriately indifferent of any weather. A relaxed white blouse teamed with white wide leg pants means hinting at a fresh summery look without sacrificing class. The white Marion bag‘s small stature doesn’t throw everything over the top, with clashing coloured hardware and jewellery providing the subtle details. As Zanita mentioned, wearing white really is all about confidence.
