New York, New York. I must of been waiting for this invitation my entire life, because looking back now I can’t figure out why in the world I’d never been before. Maybe I thought it was too much or too far to turn into reality? As crazy as my time there was, I can honestly say I had some of the best moments and days of my life. Now all of my thoughts are planning my next visit, or irrationally contemplating the big move.
Shopping in Soho, cupcakes at Magnolia bakery, spotting Abby Lee walking down 8th, laying on the grass in Bryant Park and drinks at Conde Nast Times Square. I couldn’t wipe the smile off my face and I received a few comments questioning my sanity, but I was just grateful.
A few of these photos were taken of the amazing views from the Hudson hotel, I may have nearly fallen out of an 18th floor window one evening from being a bit too much in the moment. That is what New York’s bright lights will do to you. Unfortunately I didn’t get much time to enjoy the rooftop bar at the Hudson hotel, but walking through the picturesque green and laid back courtyard was a perfect way to separate thoughts from the crazy streets outside. Thank you Hudson for hosting us, it couldn’t of been more comfortable than coming back after a show to cookies on my bed, or with Central Park a stones throw away to escape post show to.
Thank you incredibly to Tumblr, Virgin America, Hudson Hotel, and Groundlink. But a special thank you to Rich Tong and Holly Stair, who made every single crazy little thing happen.
