The Calm

Wearing: Zimmermann The Calm Panelled smock top, H&M jeans, Zara clutch and heels, YSL ring. As I’ve mentioned before, I am always on the look out for tops that are more than basic tee’s or blouses. This cut out and backless smock is exceptionally stunning, and has enough detail to be the statement piece that allows me to wear and get away with plain black jeans. In this confused state of the weather the long sleeves but light to wear is a perfect outfit option. The modest high neck collar is evened out with the gorgeous, suggestive line of the cut out back, and if your bust needs a bra (unlike mine) then a white singlet will do the trick.  …

San Fran Photo Diary

After LA we took a very short, but worthwhile road trip up to San Fran. Being there for only 2 nights, we managed to cram a lot of sight seeing, shopping and eating (I have never eaten so much amazing French toast in my life!). The Ventures

Wearing: Ellery The Ventures dress from The Iconic, Zara heels and clutch, Asos cuffs and rings, YSL ring and lipstick. I was lucky enough to share breakfast with The Iconic last week where I was shown around and introduced to the team and stock that this new online shopping site houses (with an unbelievable 3 hour postage time frame). Apart from stocking some of my personal favourite Australian labels like Shakuhachi, Stylestalker, Fleur Wood and Shona Joy just to name a few, I spotted this amazing dress. If you live in Australia I don’t have to attempt to put in to words just what an Ellery piece is.  Undoubtedly a key piece from her Spring 2011 collection, The Ventures dress has …

Idyllic

Wearing: Zimmermann The Idyllic Applique dress, Karen Walker sunglasses, Topshop boots, RaRa clutch, YSL ring and Michael Kors watch. I’m certain it is common knowledge by now of my obsession with Zimmermann, being my favourite Australian label. It started years ago while accumulating probably half the swimwear they have ever made, and continues to grow with each collection. This stunning and structured dress with its intricate applique pattern and flared hem is from their SS12 collection Halycon Days, which I first lusted over back at RAFW.
