Wearing; POL Design blazer, Lovers & Collaborators dress, leather clutch from Campberwell markets, YSL ring and Zara heels. I wore this little ensemble to a launch event last week, the dress by Lovers & Collaborators has the perfect light pleating and grecian drape detail. Simply beautiful. Threw a bright blazer on over the top to make it a bit more informal, and fun. After months of saving up, my new camera finally arrived today and I am so excited to get snap happy with it over the very exciting next few weeks! More to come soon.. Xo
If you’re ever in Melbourne and have a few hours to kill, I highly suggest visiting Lost and Found Market on Smith Street. This is where I am like a kid in a candy store. It can become quite overwhelming with dozens of rooms spanding over three huge levels, covered in mountains of vintage clothing, bric a brac, furniture and whatever else inbetween that you can possible imagine from bygone eras. I hear they have another store on Brunswick Street which I’ll hopefully visit next time I’m down. X
I took these behind the scenes shots while on set for Mad Love‘s S/S 2012 lookbook shoot a few weeks ago. The collection, entitled “White Dreams” was full of clashing colour and prints, maxi’s and tiny playsuits making for a colourful and comfortable summer wardrobe. How it should be. The collection drops in to stores from October. Styling; Mercy Watson and Mad Love team Model; Anja Konstantinova Photographer; Bec Lorrimer Hair and Makeup; Tara Airlie
Wearing; IM knit and tote, Zara dress, Friperie vintage hat, Samantha Wills bangles, Soles boots. I’m just waiting for someone to catch on and notice that I have been living in this IM knit since the day it arrived. So comfortable to chuck on over the top of well, pretty much anything. Versatile enough to get away with even a polka dot pattern clash. I don’t think I made my mind up of what season to dress for this day, knit and boots for the freezing winter wind, or dress and hat hoping for summer.
