Fun, flirty, sleek and sexy styles from Shakuhachi’s “Block Party”. All trends for Spring/Summer were covered from colour blocking, matching separates, neon bright, tan leather, embellishment & tassles. My favourite piece was a pair of white lace mini shorts I couldn’t snap a photo of in time, but will accompany the rest of my Shakuhachi piece’s in my wardrobe come Spring.
I’ve been having some self diagnosed downtime post RAFW- enjoying not wearing heels every day or having to actually think about what to wear each day. (Sounds petty but five days of wearable outfits doesn’t leave you with much!) Even though I have a pretty big wardrobe from everything I collect for tuula, I always seem to re wear the same dozen items. I picked up these Lee jeans from an op shop for just $3, and manage to brighten up a Sunday breakfast throw together. Thank you I Don’t Like Monday’s for sending me this comfortable long sleeve T by Alexander Wang that is fitting perfectly with this weather. I never purchase anything online from the U.S and was …
I can’t put in to words how in love I am with these stunning navajo print & lace trim shorties, hand made by the beautiful Lisa of Lenni Vintage. This is one piece I am not letting go of- they have me wishing for summer already! Trying to make them a little more transseasonal with this new Shakuhachi cable knit. This outfit post coming soon. Shakuhachi knit, Lenni Vintage hand made shorts, Spell Designs bracelets, Country Road clutch, Asos boots.
I’m not sure if it was the exhaustion of the week, or if it was the anticipation of the climactic final RAFW show, but it wasn’t only smoke that filled Bowie’s show with the feeling of electricity and magic in the air. Stunning creations of individually cut flowers, entire feather gowns, beading and intricate origami folds. It was like watching paper cranes come to life on the misty, crystal salt filled runway.
